    Japanese e-commerce sites

As I am disappointed with play-asia.com

I want to know if there is a Japanese version of VG+

    All I want is

    Cheap games (Cheaper than play-asia.com)
Free gifts (not crap sticker or 5 dollars voucher
Fast delivery (free would be nice)
    No import duty
    english language as option
    good service
    No problem on shipping aboard

    Must be in Japan.

Can I ask you why are you dissapointed with Play Asia?

I doubt you'll find the games much cheaper than Play Asia - unfortunatley Japanese games are expensive.

They're cheaper at yesasia in most cases. Nearly all Preorders are 10% cheaper, plus free shipping.

Play-asia don't sell PSP games, no longer mark stuff down, charge extra for JPN versions, and charge you for shipping (albeit it's usually cheap). Apart from that, they're great.

Since when have they stopped marking stuff down?

My last order which was sent roughly a month ago was marked down and also marked as a gift/sample

kinda pissed me off recently as well

just before i went to see for 3 weeks i got a new credit card and you cant update the old orders until there is a problem with your old card

so when i was away 3 orders became ready to ship but my old card wouldnt go through

so they declined those 3 transactions and 5 days later cancelled them because i didnt update as i would normally but since i was at sea it was impossible

so i emailed them asking to reinstate all 3 orders to which they only would reinstate 1 which was the garou and controller - the most expensive order

when i got the email telling me to pay for garou it was 2 days old and before i had a chance to add my new card details it was cancelled again due to a card problem

told them how frustrating this was and mentioned i would like it reinstated again, but i will be away for a week from tomorrow morning - that was yesterday and still nothing - i can bet if the order happens again i wont be able to pay for it - but i told them i would be away

sent them an angry email stating that most people work and they cant be infront of a computer 24 hours a day

            fecking annoying

If it's in stock and ready to go, they action it there and then (or at least do a CC check). For pre-orders they wait until it ships IME.

EDIT: it even says on the front page "We guarantee that your credit card will not be billed until your order has been shipped out."

This is a good site to purchase Jgames, especially DC games:

                    http://www.gamechoiceclub.com/index.asp

                    Their based in HK.

They are very reliable but I've never ordered an item of significant value to warrant custom fee's.

Play-Asia had always been excelent for me, however my last order was delayed and I had to pay import tax on it First time for me from play-asia, and I use them almost once a month.

I had this problem with Garou: Mark of the Wolves order from play-asia.com. I have complained to them and hopefully there will be no more problem in the future.

I have those game on order with them.

You should just E-mail them about customs, ask them directly and they can only say yes or no. They do say this:

You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from us, you are considered the importer of the goods and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
but so does Play Asia and VG+

On the security route, never heard of them, but they've got the verified by Visa and Mastercard securecode logos, so they must be pretty legitimate. In addition they've got a hotline.
