      So do you need a Network adapter, hard drive and HDadvance 3.0 on my Messiah 2 PS2.

      Do gamestation sell NEtwork adapter 2nd hand.

        I have hdadvance ver 3.0. When i use it however i cant enable mode 1,2 or 3 i have 8 new options. Will i be able to play games that need to be mode 1,2,3 enabled?

        If so is there anything i need to do??

          Mode 1,2 and 3 are just the first three in the list, they decided to put the proper names as to what they do instead for v3.

            I don't know about HDAdvance v3.0, as I see no reason to pay for it, but if you want to go get yourself the latest patched HDLoader from exploitstation or wherever for free, 0.7c has a buffer overflow patch specially designed to get Gradius V working.

            I was playing it just this morning off the HD; no more racket from the CD drive and sub-second loading times is pretty amazing.

              Only useful if you have a chipped PS2

              Some people are installing the games onto HD from PC and running a "real" version of the disc, but that still sadly doesn't get around Gradius 5 problems, you need the patched version of HDloader.

                No chipped PS2 here - I'm using an Action Replay Max Evo edition (?14.99 from Play) and the PS1 savegame exploit talked about in the other thread.
