slow ass scrolling in firefox.

hello again, this time i'm having issues with firefox scrolling really slow (also ie), i've reformatted the pc and reinstalled xp pro as it was running before and now all of a sudden it seems my pc is straining just to scroll webpages...

i've tried the 'smooth scroll' option in firefox to no avail. any ideas?

When you say running slow do you mean slow to load webpages or slow in general usage? Whats your CPU processes running at when its behaving like this? Have you got the newest build of FF?

webpages load fine, when scrolling in firefox the system process is hitting 100% which isn't right... firefox is running 1.0.6

make sure you've got the latest drivers for your graphics card installed, without hardware acceleration working properly scrolling gets really really sloooooow.

Yeah def sounds like a graphics card issue.
