    Open Office equivalent of outlook?

Just a quickie, as part of my works strategy of not spending any money on IT, we have started using openoffice for our Call Centre staff, it is crashy under windows but works fine for the most part.
I was wondrering if anyone can recomend a freeware replacement for outlook, compatable with Exchange 2003?. We dont run POP3 on our exchange so it has to be smtp for "both in and out"
    Cheers dudes

Is there no chance of getting pop3/imap set up on the server? If so thunderbird would do handsomely.

That's management for you. Pay for exchange 2003 but not for the software needed to access it
