I have a Kuro, but the price difference between the 50" Kuro TV and the Panasonic V10 was huge when they were both new. I think you can get good deals on the Kuros now if you can still find one though.

        It's a case of:

        Panasonic V10s:
        * more noticeable green/yellow phosphor trails on motion
        * less accurate colour (no colour management system to fix it)
        * lack of calibration controls on the UK version (we spitroasted them for this when we were at their UK HQ and they get the message!)

        Last Pioneer Kuros:
        * more panel-generated (PWM) noise on picture, not really relevant unless you're sitting close
        * slightly better black level, but you'd probably need both displays side by side to see the difference
        * slightly better SD video processing, but not amazing like some have claimed

Southampton richer sounds had £1800 off a 50" Kuro today, selling for £699 (presumably actually the one on the wall - ex display) I nearly puked on myself as my credit card burnt a hole in my arse.

WHAT?! I'd buy a second one at that price!
            You bought it, right?

I bought an LG 32 inch LH5000. I went for it over the 3000/4000 as it has 100Hz.

Can someone tell me why is the picture on it pretty fuzzy on digital tv, regular DVD's thru my 360 & even slightly on games on my 360? (I'm using HDMI btw)

Try turning off all the fancy processing the TV will no doubt be applying. And never expect much from Freeview at 1080p.

                        very interested in this one

Ta mate will do. Can you also tell my if I can sort out the slight pause/delay I get between the time I pull the trigger & when my gun fires in MW2 online? Never got it on my old CRT

I'd demo stuff like Gears of War, Call of Duty or Dead Space on the Panny before buying it mainly for gaming - if you can't see green phosphor lag, good for you. If you can, you'll hate it.

You say it has 100Hz - it might be preferable to disable that if possible, as that will cause a certain amount of lag. It is essentially a form of post-processing, the signal it's receiving will still be 50/60Hz.
