Halo won't load after replacing HD

I have replaced the HD in an Xbox and now everything except Halo will load. The drive has been locked and tested by loading other games with the switch off. But Halo wont load wether the switch is on or off and wont even run from the HD. If I put the old HD back in Halo loads fine.

The HD that I have installed is and IBM/Hitachi 60Gb 7200rpm model.

Has anybody here got any ideas as what could be causing this problem?

Oh my god you put an IBM drive in your xbox, i hope your good at getting things replaced.

Not my Xbox, and the drive was supplied by somebody else.

Try deleting the contents of drives X,Y and Z and also the savegame for Halo (after backing it up of course

Just noticed that a couple of capacitors on the power supply appear to have leaked some white crap. Maybe this could be causing a few problems due to a higher power load of the new HD?
