Having only just got a decent PC capable of playing high end PC games. I'm finding I'm spending most of my gaming hours behind it. Anyway check the screens and this Hollywood style movie trailer! lol

the first screen almost looks photo realistic at first glance. Is this anything to do with the quake series or is that just a random name?

It's by the guys that did the free Enemy Territory multiplayer thing for the recent Wolfenstein. They were supposed to be doing the same thing for Quake 4, but it's looking so good (as in most mags are far more interested than they are in 'proper Quake 4'), and so big, that the publisher has decided to charge money for it this time.

It's in some ways the prequel to Quake 2, I think. It's basically Enemy Territory but set in the humans vs. Strogg wars of the Quake games (well, Quake 2 and 4) rather than WW2 as ET was. And it looks bloody superb. Can't wait personally.

Enemy territory was an awesome free game. If this plays anything like Enemy Territory played its going to rock.
