PS2 games to make swap magic worth buying?

I am considering getting swap magic for my PStwo but which games are either sufficiently better in NTSC (such as Devil May Cry) or not available in PAL (Katamari Damacy) that make it worth bothering with?

    Any others?

Depends on your tastes I suppose. I have:

    Initial D
    Densha De Go Final
    Densha De Go Shinkansen
    Taiko No Tatsujin games
Jikkyou Power Pro Yakkyu 9 (baseball)
    Macross

All Japanese. As far as I'm aware they aren't available in PAL format.

Edit: I have a Japanese PS2 and not Swap Magic, so I don't know if these work with it or not.

nice to see someone mention the densha games!

i have swapmagic and i only own games that i love, otherwise i sell them, so all the following ntsc only games are highly recommended.......

      drummania (with special controller)
guitarfreaks 4th mix / drummania 3rd mix (with special controllers)
guitarfreaks 3rd mix / drummania 2nd mix (with special controllers)
      initial d special stage
every densha de go! game, but densha final is my favorite game of all time!
      jet de go! 2
pop'n music series (with special controllers)
      train simulator real series
      katamari damacy
      minna daisuki katamai damacy
      espgaluda
      dodonpachi daioujou
      tokyo bus guide
      pilot ni narou 2
ddrmax2 with a metal dance platform

If you car racing games I have:

Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction (the Kaido games are drift type racing)
        Kaido Battle: Touge No Densetsu.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 (US)/Shutokou Battle 01 (Japan/Asia) (the NTSC/J is best due to a money bug caused in the conversion to the US version).
Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix (there is some drift competitions in here)
        Battle Gear 3
Initial D: Special Stage (drift racing)

I have tried all except Kaido Battle: Touge No Densetsu on Swap Magic (I now have an Asian slimline PS2).

I don't know if it works with it, but the PS2 release of Psyvariar 2 would probably be my third PS2 import choice after the two Katamari games. I've not quite got a big enough list to justify either a second PS2 or hacking mine about, however.

Having the Japanese GT4 made an NTSC/J PS2 a necessity due to the dual layer format.

Psyvarier 2 defintely a must buy and works fine with swap magic.Infact with my chipped ps2 i can only play it with the swap method does not seem to work otherwise.

Space Channel 5 Special Edition (US PS2). 2Contains both Space Channel 5 games. Yes I know you cn get both of them in PAL format but do you really want to spend ?40+ on Part 2 when you can get this for around a tenner?

I'd also recommend Initial D and if you like RPG's Suikoden III and Xenosaga.
