Anyone seen one of these in action?

I'm looking for a new big flat monitor. Was wandering if anyone had used one of these and what they thought of the Dell on this page:

Edit: I should say its not really for games.

        Yowza, that looks lovely.

Been thinking of going down the LCD route for my PC as well lately. May have to see about saving up the pennies

I've been overtiming like a cheap whore lately (I'm working right now - double time, mwahahahahaha) and the cash is really starting to rack up.

I'm pretty sure that by the end of the day I'll have whipped out the plastic and bought it. I'm so weak.

I think I'll buy if off the Dell site though. 688 quid including VAT there which for a 24" screen seems pretty damn reasonable to me.

That Dell screen is awesome! Been toying with the idea of getting one, but bit over my budget.

Those screens look amazing in photos, bet they're even nicer in reality.

Only drawback I can see is that if you ever wanted to game on it then your PC would have to be up to running at the uber resolution.

That is meant to be a very good screen, a few guys on the av science forum have had very good things to say about it.

Why are these monitors 1920x1200- when ?2000-3000 lcd tv's are 1333x768?

It does my head-in the fact that if I splash out ?1500 on an lcd tv the bloody thing won't work well with my pc!

My cousin showed me that the other day, its SICK!!!!

The bastard used to have a 22" Iliyama back in the day when 19" were considered overkill!

When he tilted it round I just thought of all the dirty schumps you could play on it with emus.

He got it for ?600 a few months back from ebay, some dude had like 30 of them or something.

ebuyer have couple of 21" CRT monitors, nice Phillips one for ?190 + vat, 19" ones start from ?85 + vat, if space isn't an issue then they're a bargain

Yeah currently I have a 21" Trinitron. Its fine but just takes up so much desk space and weighs a tonne.
