Dell coupons, whats the deal?

I've been thinking of getting a Dell laptop sometime soon. However while doing some research I've heard talk that Dell frequently release coupons allowing big savings on many of their products?

Does anyone know much about this and how you come accross such things? Is it just that you have to be lucky when they post them on their website or perhaps be a registered Dell member?

There was a topic about this not to long ago, probably only a few pages back. Someone posted a link to a site with the codes for 5% off but they ended on the 10th of August I think.

I recently purchased a Dell XPS Gen 2 laptop with a coupon that took 40% off the price. So, what should have cost me almost $4000 only ended up costing $2500. I was thrilled. If you want to see if any are available, just do a google search on dell coupons. But you have to act fast. The one I used was supposed to last about two weeks or until it was redeemed 6000 times, and I think it didn't even make it a week.

You can register at quidco.com and get 4.5% cashback I believe.

As for the % coupon, they took a long break from doing them and they only recently came back. Search for the previous thread on Dell discount vouchers and see if the wensite mentioned there has anything new.
