    Oh Bloody Hell.

Would it be possible for someone to send me an example file that works for this? I keep thinking I've done everything right, transfer what looks like a perfectly good save to the Action Replay Max USB thing, and then in the memory transfer program it just appears as 'corrupt data'. Normal PS2 memory files are heading back and forth with great ease, so that isn't the problem.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this; I've got it all working now.

I've not even got my import Katamari Damacy yet, but it's practically proving its worth on the games I already have. Gradius V without the jet-engine sound of the CD spinning and WipEout Fusion where it takes a second or two to load a new track, rather than half a minute or more is just wonderful.

Mind you, Psyvariar (UK release) didn't play ball at the first attempt, so I need to keep fiddling with that one.

Speaking of which, if anyone has a proper ISO for the patched HDLoader v0.7 with all the exploits, send it along as I can't seem to get it to work my end.

I've got a save file you can load with Action Replay, but not an ISO, sorry.

This is slightly off-topic, but here's a wierd one...

Devil May Cry works from the HDD, but the Devil May Cry Greatest Hits re-release does not...
I always assumed the Greatest Hits releases were just carbon copy re-releases of the initial release, but it seems there may be some changes in the code...

Could someone please confirm whether God of War is single or dual layer as I loaded the program with WinHIIP (I think, I recently went over to using HDL_Dumb). I have the latest DVDCryptor for the ISO's.

I have one of the Simple 2000 games which according to the compatibilitly list ought to be OK but HDL_Dumb wouldn't even read it.

According to the HDAdvance "manual" you ought to be able to load imports by putting the import in when it asks for the disk. This does not work, however. Not sure how I would get on with a disk swap after the disk is verified as I don't think it stops.

                It's DVD9, so dual-layer, afaik.

Strange that it worked (though I didn't play for long from the start).

That is odd. On my vague list of things to do is using DVDDecrypter and Winhiip to put my PAL Platinum copy on the hard drive, patching it to NTSC as I go. I'll let you know if I'm successful.

All the opening stuff must be on the first layer then. You need to flatten it into one single layer ISO first before transfer with WinHIIP.

It depends. The latest patches to HDLoader certainly allow it to play GT4 without flattening the iso, though apparently you still need to use DVDDecrypter to rip the dual layer ISO correctly rather than just getting Winhiip to do it. I'd imagine the same goes for God Of War and any other dual-layer game.

This is also true of ToxicOS mind. And ToxicOS is the official continuation of HDLoader.
It's likely just an issue with WinHIIP, as ToxicOS can rip DL games straight from the disc fine.

Would be interesting to know man.
I find it kinda funny that, dispite the fact I forked out for an NTSC version of the game (and I don't really care if a release is Greatest Hits or not), I'm still having to download it to use on HD.
