Game Boy Colour Pirate Questions

I know that piracy is rampart for the GBA. Just wondering if its the same for the GBC as I'm looking at a few titles for this but don't wanna buy some fake piece of crap (and I'm seeing some Thai sellers on ebay too). Is it as rampant as gba piracy? Any decent pointers?

Try and find UK sellers that are only selling the odd one or two GBC games. I've found that sellers with high feedback and lots of auction of GB games are usually the pirates.

The popular late releases for the GBC were heavily pirated ie Zelda OoA & OoS, Dragon Warrior 1 & II, Dragon Warrior III and all the Pokemon games.
