    XBMC crashing

Im using a CVS version of XBMC which I find crashes continually. Before installing, I clear out my Cache files, but Ive heard that as Im running it in 1080i a lot of the CVS builds have issues.

So, what Im thinking of doing is going back to the official XBMC release, but after a while searching for it Im only able to find SRC code not binary files. Any idea where to get this?

Also if anyone has any idea why it crashes so much Id love to hear from you.

I seem to of found a more reliable CVS build, Ill stick with this for the time being.

The newest build was crashing for me alot as well, Im running in 1080i on my projector and it would hang quite alot on network shares...

I've changed down to 720P and it seems to crash alot less but there is definitely something up with it. There was a new release out today which might be better.

You'll only find mostly source code because it has to be compiled with the Microsoft XDK, and as these aren't generally available to the public it's legally dodgy distributing the binaries (as with most if not all of the emus and homebrew). Source code on the other hand isn't.

        See the XBMC FAQ: http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/info_faq.htm#02
