Another Q about the TEST PS2

iv got myself one of these units and was gonna get the HDD setup with HDLoarder but have been told the TEST PS2 DTL-H30002 cannot boot the HDD or use the Network adaptor is this true and if so is there no way around this?

As long as you patch the hdloader disc to look like a master disc I cant see why there would be a problem

Not sure about the HDLoader but don't see why it cannot use the network adaptor?
I myself have PAL PS2Test but no Network adaptor...
If I ever see one for cheap I'm planning to test out this theory myself...

you can't use network adaptor on PS2Test since it won't run Utility Disc...

Yup, i've had HD loader booting from MC on a Test kit. Unsure of the model number right now, but I can check.

im not sure where u can buy them i got mine from my friend not too sure where he got it from but he seems to get dev stuff alot like Xbox dev kit, DC dev kit etc.

Bear in mind when booting from the MC you'll need a PSOne game in the PS2..

Apparently you can patch the iso of utility disc so it can run on PS2 TEST...
stilll not sure nor heard anyone who used PS2 TEST for online game play.

I havent been able to even get it running online.
I bought my netweork adaptor and nothing happens it boots up the disc provided and stuff but wont setup at all, tried loadsa ways but doesnt seem to be doing anything.
