Strange thing that happened to me is with the pal version of powerstone 2.It would have trouble starting up (sometimes i would give up cos it took so many attempts) and sometimes even when running it would lock up.The thing is i look on the disc and it looks perfectly clean no scratchs anyone else had a problem?

Yeah me too. Not with Powerstone 2, but with Dead Or Alive 2.
Disk in perfect condition, but it wont load at all. The only game in my collection that refuses to work.

My DOA2 is like this too. It used to work fine once upon a time. I had the same problem with Soul Calibur for a few months, but afterwards it mysteriously started working again. In both cases, the discs were spotless.

It might be explained by a bit of dust on the DC lens. This happens to my DC every now and then and I just clean it off with q-tip.
