Qoob GC - forced vga?

Thinking of modding my american GC with a qoob sx but have several questions...

1. I dont have a bba so it is still okay to update the bios of the qoob from a dvd-r with the new bios?

2. Can PAL games be forced to work in vga?

3. Is the vga output of forced games as good as the american titles that appear so vividly when run through prog scan?

It's forced 480p, not forced VGA. But yes, PAL games can be forced. Not all work, but a lot do. F-Zero PAL in 480p rocks/

And yeah, you can update Qoob via DVDR.

Thanks, no need for me to buy american games any more once I get the qoob fitted. Just want to get Killer 7 running through forced VGA now and it will be great.

Just FYI, I have a Japanese GC with Qoob SX and the PAL version of Killer 7 works great with forced 480p mode (VGA on my monitor).
