Which will give the best results (Xbox360)

I have a 26" LCD TV which supports VGA. At the moment I play my chipped Xbox through high def pack (component in to a Vdigi, this then plugs into the VGA port of my TV)

Which lead will give the best results for Xbox 360:
    1. Component with vdigi
    2. VGA

or will the picture be the same (quality wise)?

theres not much differecne between them in my case i noticed the component direct to the screen took away the ripple effect at the boot xbox logo and auto switched to non-hd when u play games like stasky&hutch that dont support HD (well my pal copy of the game dont work in HD) but then again i was using a vga box for the xbox

but i guess with ur setup it does the same thing, thinking about it now?

on the 360 u will really have to wait and see but i still think it will be hard to tell them apart. im not even sure what connection the 360 has HDMI?

I would think the vga lead as its removing a part from the chain going into you tv.

This is what I thought. Although, will it be really noticeable?

No HDMI I'm afraid for Xbox 360

In theory, yes, as there is no conversion going, it "talks" directly to the TV.

VGA is still analogue tho. I'll most probably be using component for mine, just because that'll be easier for me to hook up.
