Could someone Recomend A SCART lead?

Hi i have recently imported Some games and am planing to Use the PSXchange disc to play them.

I just wanted to know whats the best scart to use for best performance...by that i mean one that doesnt break easily and lasts the longest(I have to do a lot of lead swaping between the saturn PSX and Gamecube as i dont have a multi scart thingy)

. I have a Gold pinned MV Cable for my DVD player and it works like a dream...im looking for something along those lines for A playstation.

I can get some colour with an AV cable but all the colours seem to be off...I used a cheap scart lead before but the picture screwed up (Black dots floating around the screen) whenever i removed it.

Generally, you should stick to official cables. They may cost more, but consider them a long-term investment.

A ?10 Scart Switcher from Argos might be a good idea too!

You seriously need to get a switch box though, you'll do damage to any SCART lead by swapping it in and out all the time. For a mere ?15 you can get a 3 way SCART RGB switcher from Argos/Index, worth EVERY penny.

Cheers...that Blaze one looks very good...I asume it
works with PSX too (I dont see any reason why it shouldnt)

The problem i had with the unoficial one was that
when playing import games it didnt have any effect unless
i removed it then put it back in.

Everyone seems to be raving about the Blaze one, is it really better than the official cable?

Heh I more have a problem of having pretty much knackered the SCART sockets on my TV thru overuse :P the connectin pins inside the sockets have been pushed too far back so it's very hard to make a connection now but all the splitters I've had have been utter pap. Might treat myself to one of them Joytech AV centre jobbies when my wage comes thru.

I used the scart lead the picture was perfect but after a while the
black dots that apeared on the screen came back...

I know its not the lead now so it must be the TV...Its around 9-10 years old
Also my brother has the same one (A portable TV same make and model) and
the lead works fine...So it must be that its getting old (ive had it since i first
                    got my SAturn)
