pc wont connect to xbox

A while ago I had an all wireless setup and could ftp no problems, but now its just a case of pc - crossover cable - xbox

when i start up my ftp (tried 4 different ones, cuteftp/flashftp/wsftp etc) and try connecting to the xbox it wont work

my xbox ftp is 192.168.0.2 and subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and my pc one is 82.33.25.154 subnet mask 255.255.248.0.

(cross over cable defo works ok as ive just been playing some system link

any1 know a good guide to tell me wtf im doing wrong?

ps these xboxs are going out the window in 10 minutes time!!

Your PC IP looks like a WAN IP, ie the IP you get assigned from your ISP (Telewest?).

You will need to set your PC NIC to an IP of say 192.168.0.1 and use the 255.255.255.0 subnet mask then your good to go.
