Received a game and it refuses to boot up. Almost as if the Cube doesn't recognise a disc is in there. Can't see anything wrong with it apart from the inner plastic circle (inside the artwork) is slightly damaged and opaque. Could this be it? Anything I can do to rescue the disc?

You tried booting the GC with Freeloader then inserting dodgy disc ? long long shot but you never know .... -

Is the barcode round the inner ring damaged in any way?? because if the barcode is damaged the game wont boot as the gamecube scans that bit first to determine if its a real gc disk.Comment
