    Anyone use/have one of these?

As title, just wondered if anyone has/had/seen one of these in action and if it is any good?

    Cheers

(it's a GC RGB cable in case you are too lazy to look)

Bit pricey that, surely you can pick up something of the same quality on eBay for less.

(I've not used it, just found ?9.99 a bit excessive for a standard SCART lead.)

I wouldn't trust any third-party RGB SCARTs for GC coz they more often than not turn out not to be, apart from the one you can get from Lik Sang for $4.99 which doesn't have phonos but does a good job, I use it for my US SNES and the picture's very good. It turned up in 2 days.
However, taking a close look at that pic there, it looks like it has only a few pins (can't really tell, it might just be a reflection from a flash when photographing) but these pins do correspond to the ones you need to get RGB so...

I would normally buy an official cable but that I need/want the audio output.

I have got the official cable and put it thru my VCR then use the phono leads on that to connect to the stereo if that's any help. I had one of those kind of leads for the PS1 and it wasn't much cop to be honest.

If worst comes to the worst, pick up an Argos switcher (probably a good idea anyway), and run it through that... that has a separate audio out.

I'd keep away if I were you. My mate tried 2 GC RGB scarts from GAME recently and they were terrible. Reds looked pink while the yellows seemed like they have interference striped across them. We compared it to the official cable and the results weren't even close.
