    White PSP Question

Could someone please tell me if the white PSP is coming out in America or UK any time soon.

I could easily pick one up from Japan but then I couldn't watch any UMD movies on it except Japan ones but I really would like to buy a US or UK White PSP so that I could watch english speaking movies on it.

    Thanks

    Tom

Surely the Jap one is the best bet for you if you want to watch movies, as aren't the regions for UMD's the same as they are for DVD's i.e. region 2 for Japan and the UK !

Ah, ignore me then. I was just going by all the adverts which the UK importers used to put up, advising that the Jap PSP would play UK UMD's.

there has been no conformation, but that could change over the next few months.

i've been thinking the same, but ended up pre-ordering a jap one yesterday as i wouldnt be surprized if they released different colours in us and uk, then they would probally be silver instead of white.

My Japanese PSP is all in english - you can default this when setting it up to English

the white PSP wont get released in the UK, Feck me look at all the special PS2's available and all we get is a silver one

My White PSP has been on order for ages - fell in love

Will I need a stepdown converter? Because I understand the jap PSP runs off 110v whereas ours is 220v?

Just use a 2pin to 3 pin shaving adaptor on the end, or simply replace the little figure of 8 lead with a UK one.

The power supply Sony include with the PSP is multivoltage & will accept any input between 100-240v so no need for a step-down (& no risk of blowing it).

As Unlighty says just replace the figure of 8 or use a travel/ shaving adaptor.
