Bars on X-Box games?

Does anyone here know if some games, such as Capcom Vs SNK 2 have the same problems with there being a black bar at the top and bottom of the screen on the X-Box as they did on the PS2? I have a PAL50 TV and a few PS2 games weren't properly converted to use full screen, despite being native UK PAL releases, and was wondering if this happens on the XBOX, because I gather the output is determined by the X-Box not the game.

its definitely full screen not sure about speed but saying as its Live compatable i expect it is full speed too (so that players outside Pal territories dont have an unfair advantage).
