    Xbox Live Bans?

I know Xbox Liv bans you if you use a modchip online (mines an executer 2.3b) But I have the NTSC version of Fable, if I use that (It's Live aware) would I get banned or not, because of it's region free status?

    Just making sure...

If the mod chip is turned on and you sign into Live (as Live aware games do) your Xbox will be black listed regardless of the game.

If the chip is switched off and you boot up NTSC Fable on a PAL machine, nope you won't be black listed.

I think bans can take a couple of days to make it into the system, so it wasn't necessarily what you did on Saturday.

and the chip had not been on atall, and i'd been useing the same setup for 2years now

Are you sure you're actually banned? Sometimes Xbox live gets downed for maintenance, preventing you from getting on.

                  You'll get banned if:

                  1) The mod chip is on
                  2) You've changed your HD since registering on Live
                  3) You've been hacking around with Halo 2 Mods
