Need help regarding wireless. Please help.

Hello!

Well finally my wireless is up and running. However, whenever i try to connect my psp i get a message on my computer saying "warning there is an ip adress conflict with another system on the network" and my psp says internet conncetion failed.

What is this problem?

Each computer on a network is assigned an IP address which is unique for each device. Your PSP is trying to use your computers. Are there settings in the PSP to change the IP address that you want to connect with? Will be something like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.2

ok on the psp it has the option to enter automatically or manual. It says this warning when i choose auto. When I choose manual it lets me input:

ip address
subnet mask
default router
primary dns
secondary dns

i really have no idea what all this means though.

Also should i have a shared connection on the wireless or broadband modem in network connections? and should i have a shared or open WEP key?

And when it searches Auto it gets an ip address of 192.168.0.126 and the default router and dns are the same 192.168.0.1.
