Small text on my PC?!

Help! I'm unsure why, but for no reason my PC (XP home, SP2) now has small text! On forums like this it is fine, but elsewhere (eBay, google etc) the text is tiny. I've tried system restore but the same result- I don't know why but it's really annoying me, I find it difficult to read the small text!

Does anybody know why my PC would suddenly do this?

Well, on google at least, you can alter text size by holding down the control key and scrolling up or down depending with your mouse wheel. That might sort you.

Edit: Works with Ebay too

I can't remember whether it was random or not.

It was akin the the staggering drunk in town who mutters to himself as you and your bird pass by.
