    Panasonic Q RGB Cable

Recieved from Saurian today, he fixed the awful Lan-Kwei lead and now it WORKS! And does a perfect job too!!
Anyway, a few questions. I was told that the Q does not play DVDs through the RGB cable, however I tried it and they worked perfectly! Maybe they're not in RGB, but I do remember people mentioning they had to swap the RGB cable with the component cables all the time to switch between DVDs/GC.
Also is the picture meant to be noticeably better? It's a great picture, but I just can't tell if it's better than before or not.

    TIA

The modified lead will play DVD's through the lead, the thing is they are composite quality and not RGB. This is the reason why you don't have to change the TV channel for games but for DVD's you have to click to the AV channel.
As for the lead itself, it does make a huge difference. Notice how the text (particularly AC) is sharper and clearer. The actual graphics are more vibrant and sharper too. Maybe somebody can put some pictures up of the difference so that you can compare the quality.

Those pictures are great, but shots taken from a TV just don't show enough difference - the RGB cords are that much better.

But hey, I think everyone on this forum knows that anyway...
