    Power point help

I am doing a project for uni and have to do an interactive presentation in power point (a psychometric test). I have designed the test ect but my lecturer said he wants to see some interactivity (space to type answers. Also some of the answers require text to be changed in colour.

    Is this possible to do?

If so does anybody know how or any recourses that may help me.

    thanks for looking

Use can make Power Point presentations sort of interactive be using "Triggers" (look it up in the power point help), but IIRC, there's no provision for having people enter text on a slide - that's not really what it's designed to do.

Just looked up Interactive in Powerpoint Help and found this (slightly abbreviated).

      Action Buttons:

Select Autoshapes on the Drawing Toolbar. Point to Action Buttons. Click the button you want to create. CLick the slide to add the button in the default size. You can use Action Settings to define how you want to use it.

      Interactive Actions

You can start an interative action by moving the mouse over it or clicking it. You can even assign two actions, one for a click and one for a mouse over.

Go to Action Settings on Slideshow from where you can assign to the Mouse Click or Mouse Over.

      Hyperlinks or Interactive Actions

You can assing hyperlinks so you can jump to a specific page. You can create a hyperlink from any text or object. If you jump you may want to set a return hyperlink.

You can set up an interactive action for any object, such as make a sound.

You can create these from Action Settings from within Slideshow.

      Any good?

You can't enter text but you can activate different things using the action triggers as these other 2 have mentioned.

I have managed to get it to enter text

Does anybody know if i can link it to Excel?

The slideshow is a test and i need to be able to log the answers some way and give a result at the end. My lecturer seams to think i can link it to Excel to do this but he is not sure how.

Or any other way i can get the system to log the answers and produce a result would be great.
