Hope someone can answer this question posted on behalf of a friend.
Would using a PAL SNES in the US be problematic? What I mean is, does the TV itself have something intrensically "NTSC" about it -- number of scan lines, etc? Or, do televisions act like a blank slate, and the PAL SNES (or any PAL device) would contain all the instructions for writing on the screen? I'm just worried about a distorted image if there is some descrepancy.
Thanks
