High Def TV question...

Right I've got me a new high def tele coming along shortly and want to get all the cables I need sorted beforehand.

However I'm not sure if my new TV will take this lead: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-24-70-ll.html - my new TV has a D-sub input on the back so will this work? Thing is I don't want to take up the component inputs if I can help it as the 360 will be using those when it arrives.

heh might be the easy way out, but if I can save myself having to press a box then I'd rather...basically the TV has a standard D-sub input as seen on graphicsa boards (the blue one) all I wanted to know was whether this is the same type of connector used by the Digital Cable ?

a d-sub input is a pc vga input and the cable you mention isn't compatible with that its some kind of digital video connection used in japan

Nah, that GameCube cable is a D-Terminal cable. Looks similar, but it's not.

I believe your set has a Component input? That's what you wanna use on your GameCube.

Besides man, your better off saving that VGA port for the 360 IMO.
