Running Xbox Live! on an Xecuter 2 lite modded Xbox?

Obviously you need to turn the mod chip off, but is it safe to run Evolution X from the harddrive if I want to use Live? Or should I run it from a CD?

It's safe to have EvoX on the hard drive and run Live independantly of eachother. I just turn the mod chip off then play Live, no problems.

Oh, and also, what buttons do you press for a soft reset?

Yeah, I've got a X2 Lite, L + R + Black does a soft reset.
