noisy xbox fan ?

is any body elses xbox noisey as i've been playing medal of honour this afternoon and my xbox sounded really loud for some reason

is it the fan thats making the noise ?

Since day 1 my XBOX has sounded like a Sea King on final approach.
It is indeed your fan to blame, however there is more than 1 fan.

yeah but its only a few months old and theres only one fan on mine as i've had a look inside

i'm also thinking its the cd drive but it plays games without any problems, philips drive

What type of sound? loud whooshing, or high-pitched whine? If its whine, then its either the hard drive or the DVD drive. Place your ear next to each side (left for DVD, right for hard drive).
