Freeing blocks on a modded xbox?

Got a modded X-Box and whenever i try to play anything off the HD it wont let me,saying "You need to free more blocks."

This i've done in the regular X-Box dash, but what im guessing is one part of the apps is in the wrong place. So which partition do i need to erase stuff from in order to let me free the blocks?

Save games are stored under udata on E:

Sounds like you have run out of space on there.

It wont let you play or backup to the HD?

      Is it a stock HD?

It wont let me save to the HD,when playing games i have on there. (to which i own the originals).

I went into E and completely deleted everything under udata, but its still the same.

        Its a 200gb HD.

Still stuck. According to the original MS dash there are only 200 odd blocks left, out of the 50,000.

          Nothing in Udata.

Amped 2 now lets me play and save, but Halo doesn't.

          Humped.

Do you have any music stored on it?

If you're down to just 200 blocks on E: then that's almost certainly the problem - simplest thing to do is to boot with the chip disabled and just use the MS dash to view the savegames and soundtracks. If there are any there which you don't need, just delete them.

If that doesn't sort the problem, then you'll have to look for other things on E: which have used up the space - anything in Emus/Games/HDDLoader/PxGame/XBCopy folders is worth checking out.

                Nothing in the MS dash.

So could it be that all the games i have put on the HD are taking up the space that the X-Box saves to?

It still says i have 60gb left though.

All the games i loaded on to it are in F.

Have a look around in E: at all the folders and see what's in them.

                    Sorted it.

                    Emulators,games,HDD loader,music,pictures and videos i also have in F.

I put some movies in videos in E,moved them to videos in F,and the blocks are free.

Why are these folders in E and F?

Thanks for everyones help. Much appreciated.
