Ok so the house is all wireless now, and all that is left to do is find a printer which i can connect to the wireless router.

Might be easier and cheaper to buy any printer you like and a print server, which you can get for less than forty quid like this. -
Canon Pixma IP4000R - It's the wireless version of the IP4000 which is a a spiffing printer. Put it where you like, turn it on, away you go.
Otherwise you need a wireless access box with a print server , or an print server you wire to the router, which then connects to the printer.Comment

I can second the IP4000R.
I have the IP4000 and I'm constantly amazed at the A4 photos I print on it. There is not much in the quality between them and those from photobox.co.uk. (Canon Photo Paper Pro, B&W).
Plus 3rd party ink cartridges cost ~?1.50, you can print duplex, CDs and it has a paper tray.Comment
