Can I change the PSP CPU speed for UMD games?

I'm aware that for ISO-based games running off a memory stick, you can ramp the CPU speed up to 333mhz to smoothen gameplay, but can this be done for proper UMD games yet?

it is an option on Fastloader v0.7 Iknow that, and I do it every time I run, but I'm not so sure it makes a difference. On Burnout Legends anyway, if it makes a difference it's unnoticable. So I'm not sure myself if it works correctly or not.

I'll try with afew other games and let you know.

Yeah, it does work - its just not really noticable with Burnout. Try it on Wipeout for more obvious benefits.

So it does work for UMDs as well as ISOs?

        Everywhere I've read says different:

PSP UMD Emulator V0.8 for PSP V1.50 only
        ----------------------------------------

Following in the footsteps of the Fastloader, here is another fine
homebrew app for your pleasure. This time we present you a full featured
UMD emulator, reboot & exitgame tight - you have to turn off your PSP completely
(or crash it ) to get it back to original state. This is a semi-final version,
some things are known not to work properly for now (see below).

        - play your favourite LEGIT backuped ISOs from the main menu of your PSP !
        - full UMD emulation via selected ISO, either for game, video and audio !
        - possibility to bypass updater check within the menu
        - possibility to remove/redirect updater icon
        - possibility to set any regioncode, even for games ...
        - CPU speed setup (currently for ISOs only)
        - sleepmode works within games now ! See "ToDo" for more

I've got both UMD Emulator 0.8 and Dev Hook 0.22. Dev Hook allowed me to run both UMDs and ISO's at 333MHz. Made a massive difference to Colin Mcrae Rally on UMD .
