Xbox Bios problem. Anyone, help me please!

I just stupidly flashed my Bios from an executor 2 256 to an evolution x bios (cant remember which), but now it wont boot with the chip enabled. It just does the flashing LED from green to red, and nowt appears on screen. With the chip disabled, I get the normal Xbox loading screen, just as if I have no chip. All my saves are still there, so the HD seems fine.

Whats wrong with my chip, and is there any way to fix this?!?

I have an LPC mod V2.0.

I am starting to panic here

done the same thing, i just ordered another chip, but if u can connect the chip to a pc, you could reflash it that way.

otherwise ull have to get a new chip

Damn. How do you connect the chip to a PC? I've looked on the net for ages, and all I came up with was some LPT connection, but with no details at all. What would this connection entail?

I can contact the same guy who installed my current chip, but it will probably mean shelling out another ?55

One things for sure. I wont be fiddling with no Bios ever again, no matter what games require a Bios upgrade ft:

If worst came to the worst, you could simply buy the lpcmod, whip off the old one and pop a new one in. You wouldn't need to solder the base in place or the two fly leads (which I assume power it), as they'd already be there. It just plugs into the motherboard, on a block of jumper-like pins.

I suspect you could order a single chip and pop it in yourself for considerably less than ?55.
