Cheap Reliable Hosting & Domain Name?

Does anyone know any cheap hosting and domain name companies?

I dont have any server side coding, so thats not needed just a few gig's of bandwidth and a .co.uk would be lovely.

Any advice or share any of your hosting experiences?

I got my last couple of domains through 123reg (less than 7 quid for 2 years of .co.uk) and host all my non-vital stuff with webmania (500 meg space, 6GB/month transfer, php, perl, mysql, phpmyadmin, unlimited pop3 accounts, unlimited subdomains) for ?20/year.

Suits me fine, the online support 'instant messenger' system they use actually works and I have any issues resolved almost immediately.

123reg are very good for domain names yes, I use ukhost4u.com for hosting, ?40 a year (with a free .co.uk domain for new users) 1gb space and 40gb bandwidth a month, if you don't need much bandwidth you will find much cheaper people.

I use 123Reg for my domain names. Excellent service and quite usefull web interface to set up mail redirection and things.

i've used simplybehosted.co.uk a couple of times with success. ?30 a year with free .co.uk

I use www.1and1.co.uk which have multiple levels of hosting. On the package I'm on they provide a mysql database via phpMyAdmin for you, so you don't have to bother uploading your own or keeping it up to date. There's a newsletter tool too that auto tracks how many people click on links and auto removes people from your contact database when they click the unsubscribe link. The webspace they provide can be used for as many domains as you wish. You just point each domain to a different folder. All via nifty web interface.

seems to vary, I've been with them for two or three years and it was 40gb when I signed up, looks like 50gb for new users now

PS. You can see your monthly bandwidth limit on the left side of the control panel once you've logged in.

I find www.b-one.net to be good.

1.25 EUR a month, plus 12EUR a year for .uk

Unlimited bandwidth & 500MB for the basic.

You get mySQL, PHP, ASP, Virus/Spam for email etc
