thought this was a piss take at first! is this really that useful to the people that use this forum?? im not saying it is or isnt im just surprised that it waranted a whole article. surely it could of been alot shorter as in : -

"stick your dance mat to some plywood with some foam in between"

      word count:- 12

I had it already written up, and it just an introductory piece for me to this site. Hopefully someone will find it useful

sorry didnt want to come across as sounding totally negative. as much as i question its use (and obviously thats just for me persoanlly) i still found it to be a well written article.

Its really strange, i got my dance mat out only the other day. I contemplated posting about how to keep the damn thing still.. it totally ruins it on the hard settings.

Instead i just stopped playing it

I thought it was pretty useful

My mum bought some non-slip material from Dunelm to use with our cheap dance mat (it's the sort of stuff you would normally use under bathroom mats). It works resonably well on the hard wooden floor at home although no one really plays at a high enough level to give it a thorough test.

Handy I guess, but the diagrams look very amateur.

On a point of information, I dropped about 90 quid on one of the big hard jobbies several years ago and they are ace, but they have two big problems. Firstly they are brittle, and secondly they hurt you.

Good article. I liked the diagrams, they did exactly what was required. I won't be doing it any time soon, but it was interesting anyway. And different.

ps. Why are people so negative all the time?

Is this really appropriate to ntsc blah bla blah

Amen to that sir. I was going to post last night saying I was 100% postitive that no-one could complain about this article. Yet I was proved wrong. I have a couple of dance mats shoved away in a cupboard somewhere and reading that I did contemplate dusting them off.
But then I remembered I have no co-ordination and would end up hurting myself.

                          Its fashionable at the moment.

Good article, not something Id do myself but Im sure some will find it useful.

I thought it was a great feature. Really useful and practical. Unfortunately i have zero balance so dance games are always out of my reach
Enjoyed the piece though and definately one of the reasons i enjoy the site.

The article is top bollock, but I'm worried .. ntsc is the only place not full of a tiny crew of bemani nutcases that all post the exact same things to the same people on about 20 forums. Don't attract them here. PLEASE
