FFXI - Pc version now? Or wait for 360??

Hi people,

I've noticed that the pc version is now only ?14.99 in virgin so was wondering if you'd recommend me getting the pc version now, or waiting for the 360 and getting that version.

Remember I haven't started yet so i'l be a newb on it no matter which!

What do u think?

im selling my pc version once i get it for 360, the accounts can be used on any machine that plays it. this only helps if you have a mate that is kinda interested and will pay ?5 for it

Afaik, the graphics are the same on both systems, so it all depends on whether you have a semi-decent PC that'll run it at full spec and whether you want to play it on the TV or on a monitor.

Personally, I think I'd pick the PC.
It's almost certainly going to be cheaper to buy too.

My pc's a Athlon xp64 2800+
1 gig of pc400
3 250 gig hd's
radeon 9800 pro

Runs doom 3 and quake 4 well so FFXI shouldn't be a prob

Isn't there a new addon pack coming out? The 360 likely has this incluided anyway.... just a warning.

I never liked FFXI anyway, but when I did try to get into the PC version, it ran perfect in 1024x768 on my machine (AXP 2600+, 1GB DDR, Radeon 9800 Pro), so your spec will be fine.
