According to Play.com games will be ?50 rrp, whereas other sites like Amazon have a mixture of ?45/50. Has Microsoft announced what the final price point for games will be. IMO, ?50 is too much.

I think most high street shops will be selling the games at ?44.99 around launch. I will almost gaurantee that Game won't be any cheaper than this on launch day as they will already have your console preorder and you are more than likely to get a couple of games from there with your machine. You may find the odd shop selling them between ?40-?45. On-line the cheapest will be around ?40.
I must agree that ?40-?50 is far too much and in time they will come down (especially when the PS3 launches). It just means that we will have to be much more savvy and scour the on-line retailers for bargains like the recent PDZ SE and Condemned deals on Amazon.
