    GB Micro to Gamecube?

Can you connect a GB Micro to a Gamecube for games like 4 Swords etc?

sure I saw a lead to connect the two on Play-Asia or Lik-Sang

There isn't: there's leads to connect Micros to other Micros and older GBAs, but not to GCs. Looks like you will need to hold on to your SP for GC>GBA connectivity.

        Official equipment list.

Its not there either. Unless the option is to use to Micro to GBA conversion cable and connect the GC link there.

Was their any reason for the changed link-up port? Or was it just Ninty being a pain in the ass?

According to Link-Sang, the Micro-GBA cable 'Requires the Game Boy Micro Communication Cable' - so is the male end on the Micro-GBA cable for plugging in the SP, and the female for attaching to the Micro Communication Cable? If so, Ginger's suggestion wouldn't work.

I held on to my SP when I got my DS simply because of the link games - I have a copy of 4 Swords I haven't played yet, and the only way I'd let myself get a Micro would be if I could trade in the SP, but if the Micro doesn't support GC link-up this isn't going to happen.

shame as it would be nice to use a DS and SP for Link up games but no I would spend few more quids to get this option if I were Nintendo.
