DS card wont stay in slot 1 ?

Tried to put a ds card into the slot 1 wont stay in!!
Keeps springing out ,works if you hold it in place,not much use!!
Anyone else had this problem and if so did you manage to fix it.
Its a japanese machine.

It might be worth trying to clean the slot maybe a bit or dirt/fluff is stopping the mech.

Sounds like the clip that holds the cart in place (you hear it go *click* when you push in the cart) is probably broken. If that is the case, you'll need a repair or new DS I'm afraid.
