I can't burn this disc image, any advice?

A glut of PC questions from me. I hate PCs, I really do.

I have a disc image that is an .img file and comes with a cue sheet.

When I select the cue sheet in nero and try to burn it it says the .img is invalid.
I can't select the .img file in nero, same result.

I've tried Diskjuggler and it won't let me do it either.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Try Alcohol 120%, it supports pretty much every cd image type known to man.

    http://www.alcohol-soft.com/

If that doesn't work, I guess something is wrong with the image.

      Will do, thanks.
And then I'll chew my own arm off and beat the PC with it before slumping into a corner rocking back and forth and crying .

Open the cue sheet in notepad. Ordinarily it should show the filename of the .img file (assuming it's in the same folder as the .cue). Sometimes the .cue though is written with a full pathname in it, so instead of...
        Code:
        imagename.img
        it says something like
        Code:
        d:\some folder\blah blah blah\imagename.img
Obviously it's highly unlikely that you'll have it in exactly the same place, so it won't find it.

Just edit that so that the path is gone and it's just the name of the .img.

(this is all assuming alcohol 120 doesn't work, which I expect it probably will)

Try downloading Daemon tools (google). It should let you mount the img file as a virtual drive, then you can do an on the fly copy or make another image to burn. Should work if all else fails.

Alcohol 120% comes bundled with daemon tools, so no need for a seperate download.

I tried all of these last night.
Looks like the image was corrupt.
              2.5GB worth to download again.
              Bah!
              Thanks for your help though.

I use DVD decrypter to burn most images as it's free.
