Progressive scan qs

I'm seriously tempted to get a Toshiba 32" Strata to let me play progressive scan games from my Gamecube but currently have Saurian's RGB cable. How much, and where is the best place to get, a component cable for the cube? Would Saurian sell me one seeing as he uses them to make the RGB leads? Or could I just butcher my current cable?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to use a VGA box with a Dreamcast to display progressive scan on the Tosh?

It's component you need not composite, composite is the cheapy poor quality one

Speak to Saurian about it, presuming there are no problems with the RGB cable, he might accept that back, and then return a Component cable. Send him an email or PM him, I imagine he'll be alright about it.
