    Show Me The Tv!

Instead of "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!"

I was rencently reading alot 360 reviews and according to it the games look like a xbox graphics unless your on a HD tv...

So I thought I come here to where the pr0s are and ask a few questions-

Firstly Does HD tv work like TFT monitors of having a MS and if its too high would Xbox 360 shadow loads on a HD tv?

What else does a HD TV do apart from give Xbox 360 better resolutions, could someone give me more technical information but on a leve I can understand.

And thirdly whats a good HD TV to aim for? I can't afford grand loads and my friend said you can get a decent HD TV for about 400 quid these days which I find hard to beleave.
I'm not really after some sorta 42 inch thing but something thats good enough to watch and play on and does Xbox 360 at its best.

Any advice and places to buy would be awesome.

    Thanks

    Waz

26" samsung lcd are about 600 ish and are very good it the one thats used on the 360 demo pods but just a little bigger as those are 23"

the 26" samsung has all the inputs rgb, hdmi, component and vga and will do the hd modes 480i,480p, 720p and 1080i

you can get them in 32" and 40" aswell but obivously more money

I don't know anything about HDTV's but i saw this in another thread and i'm actually quite tempted to go for one myself as i don't mind a small tv as i have limited space in my games room:

Also is this ok to game on? my friend said some LCD tvs acnt have cmoputrs on them as it burns the image on or something...

That seems like a awesome TV.

I don't see where its HD though maybe I'm blind.

Also what else are HD TV good for apart from xbox 360?

                lol

I'm not the best person to ask as i only saw it in another thread and i don't know much about HD stuff, but it does say in the description that its HDTV ready and it has the resolution on there too. As far as what else they are good for i figure they must be good for forthcoming HD television and it must make some sort of difference to DVD's or using your PC with it i guess.

Any other suggestions other than that DELL?

My price limit is ?300 quid pushing it would be ?350.

I want a TV mainly for xbox 360 but can also show some top notch DVD/TV quality.

Basicly I want the best 720p i can get for my money for xbox 360, also whats 180i does 360 do that or something?

or is 720p the best for 360?

                        Any more help plz.

Save up the money to get a bigger budget to buy a TV. You should try your luck in Boxing day sale for a TV. You will need to double the budget at least.

The Dells can be used with your DVD player as they have component. Looks like a good deal to me.

I wont have anymore than 300 for a long while...
                              And I don't fancy using a 360 on a 14 inch old tv.

So is this DELL 19 inch really that good?

I mean will it do the xbox 360 in awesome quality? What would widescreen on a 19 inch look like with split screen 2 player modes?

Also whats the best setting to play 360 is it 780p or 1080i?
