    The best Arcade Stick Pad

I was wondering which was considered the better of the following two arcade sticks. I would mainly be using them for street fighter / tekken gaming, but i would also like them to complement my mame gaming experience:

    Hori's Real Arcade Pro Stick

    or

The Street Fighter Anniversary Arcade Stick

Having looked at both, i'd immediately thought that the street fighter pad was the better, as the stick itself seems easier to handle. I'm not sure how easy a ball stick is to handle in the long run?
On the other hand, i like the concave buttons on the Hori one better, and they look more accessible than the sf pad, which looks like they're raised too high? Also the sf pad's buttons shape make them seem less accessible during frantic street fighter play.

They're some big pad's, so if i'm gonna buy either of them, i want to be sure i made the right decision!
Anybody out there who has experience with these arcade pads, and if so can verify/clarify on the aforementioned "shortcomings" they might have?

another thing i noticed about the sf pad is the button layout doesn't seem as well suited for hand positioning as the hori. one is usually resting the arm in an angle on the pad. thus, the hori buttons seems better suited for the hands as they are positioned in a slight curve, whereas the sf pad buttons straight positioning requires your arms to be more straight, which would seem like a more inconvinient resting position. anybody making out what i'm trying to say? (yes i'm not native english speaker )

i cannot think of a nicer way of saying this but...

the street fighter stick, is a horrible layout with cheap rubbish asian Happ controls copied buttons, avoid at all costs.

The other one (RAP) is a very nice stick that uses a Sanwa stick and Hori buttons, the RAP's are about the best you can buy at the moment, just choose between the RAP1 or 2 (different layouts). Personally i preffer the RAP II.

        that's interesting.

At Play Asia the RAP2 costs almost twice of RAP1, so if cosmetics is the difference then i think RAP1 is favourable. + RAP2 is abit out of my price league.

Yeah, I'd stay clear of that SFII thing...

Personally, I think the RAP is too big and bulky unless you have it sitting on a table or something (which I don't), so I sold mine.

The Grey/yellow Namco PlayStation stick is my favourite.
