Azalia - what is it?

My Coolermaster case has a connection labelled Azalia, I understand this to be some form of sound connector, but cannot see how it fits to my A8N-ALI mobo. Theres also an AC97 label. Can anyone put me out of my misery and advise if its something I need as such or not?

I thought AC97 was to do with on board sound, never heard of Azalia
