Help! I need separate stereo speakers for my tv!

My CRT television has a problem with it's speakers, so I need to buy separate ones to use with my consoles.

I am going to be using phono-stereo leads red and white. So I need the speakers to except phono input.

I only require stereo sound.

The speakers must be reasonable quality with well rounded sound, not too much bass!


Can anyone recommend a good-priced option? I only need to use them until I buy a new tv next year!

Asda sell a decent enough 2.1 system about about 30 quid or so, if your wanting something that's just easy.

I found these at Amazon. It says they only have a 3.5mm input, but come with extra cables for connecting to consoles such as PS2 XBOX GAMECUBE!

Does this mean they convert the 3.5mm to phono input?
