Soul Calibur 2 jap with Freeloader

hi all

I have a jap machine so i know very little about the freeloader, however someone has asked me a question and was wondering if you clever bunch could help!

do you need an NTSC formatted memory card to save? coz for some reason it wont save anything onto it? i've tried a blank memory card- but i know PAL cubes cannot format em, only Jap ones can! do you have a jap memory card or somthin???

any help would be great

On the first Japanese text laiden screen, press Y and it will allow you to create a save game file on your memory card (I believe Yes is on the left and No is on the right). Do so, continue and hopefully things should be good
