    Firefox Clean uninstall?

I have tried uninstalling firefox and rebooting and yet it always remembers my extensions and bookmarks when I reinstall.

I was having problems with firefox and so want a complete uninstall so I can start from scratch, so can anyone help?

Also are the firefox support forums and knowledgebase down for everyone else?

If you want to start from scratch, you need to remove both the firefox folder from program files (sometimes things are left in there) and the hidden folder they have.

You have to enable hidden and system folders (it's in the explorer view options) and go into
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\
and then I think Application Data?

I'm no longer a windows user, but you should find it somewhere in there. Just make sure firefox isn't running and delete the firefox folder in there. (or mozilla, if you don't use any of their other products)

    On OSX it's

    home: library: application support: firefox

      Aye that's right.

      Delete the folder C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

I'll wait until 1.5 is in the slackware-current tree before just installing it

Artic Feather, If you cant find that folder with the application data you might need to enable a setting like 'view hidden files and folders' in the Windows Explorer preferences.
